So what did you do on December the 25th? Anything exciting? Or was it boring? Maybe just another day?
I was at my Parents in the morning to open gifts, Mum is like a little child this time of the year, gets a little silly she does
Then it was off my my Aunty and Uncles for a late Lunch. Which was really nice, Its good to spend a little time with the family.
I havent seen one of my cousins that was there, 3 years. It was really great to have a catch up with her
Then it was off to work for me. Pretty much just another day, but because its a public holiday, it does mean I get time and a half and an extra day off paid.
All was going well. I gave the guys I care for ( for those who dont know I look after mentally handicap people ) their dinner, I then took one of the woman outside after she had her dinner, to sit out in the shade in the breeze, as its summer here and very hot. Just as she sat down the back of the chair I was sitting her on, cut into the back of my foot / heel. The chair is made out of metal or something like that. It went in about an inch deep and about an inch of just longer then an inch long.
Mum then came and picked me up, as she and Dad were still in town, Dad drove my car home, and Mum drove me off to the A&E ( hospital ) The doctor said it needed stitches. But because of where it is, stitches would have popped within a few seconds. Unless I also had it in a cast ( in plaster ) which seemed silly for something like this.
So I got these little strip things, dont know what they are called lol. But there is about 8 of them. And some padding thing over top of it. Was then told not to go back to work for 3 days.
So thats what I did on December the 25th. What about you what did you get up to?
Its now just about 2am, so Ill be doing a few little things, then heading off to bed.
I didnt sleep very well last night kept forgetting my foot was sore, in the middle of teh night I would roll over and something would touch my foot waking me up
